DIY tinted moisturizer (^_^)
Its always Summertime in Grenada....and in my opinion, way too hot for heavy makeup, or a full face routine. Unless of course its girls-night-out, or date night with the hubby ;)
Since its so hot outside, I usually forego a full on 'dolled up' session, and just use my tinted moisturizer, setting it with a bit of loose powder. It gives me exactly what I need to make it through the day, especially when paired with my Milk of Magnesia oil-blocking primer....
But seriously, this is so easy to make, I thought "why not?" All I did was mix my favorite moisturizer, with some spf (approved for facial use), and my liquid foundations. Currently, I'm blending two different shades.
I used a few drops each of:
-my favorite moisturizer
-a face-friendly spf
-the liquid foundations I'm using right now
Mix these altogether and store in a clean, air-tight container or jar.
*Add more or less foundation, depending on the amount of coverage you want. I wanted medium to full coverage....and I know 'they' say that spf's over 30 don't work, but it's what I could find, so hey :).*
