Bulk cooking
Because it saves my life multiple times a week.
I just can't imagine life without a few freezer meals.
It's Sunday morning, I got the (first load of) laundry going, got a toddler tugging at my skirt and won't take a damn nap, it's 85°F in the house😥 hubby's outside tinkering (he's building a ladder) and I'm dripping in sweat, not sure what exactly to do on my list of MUST -dos.
Perfect amount of chaos to bust out the ole pressure cooker and get these rock hard pigeon peas and kidney beans deliciously tender. I'm soaking some brown rice too (cuts down on cooking time) and I'll bulk cook that too.
For now, I'll go ahead and pop a soda in the fridge to chill out a lil bit
With a brownie.
